Ok, so, for the last couple of weeks, I have had a burned out headlight on the Vibe, the drivers side. Since I drive my van for work, I haven't been driving the car much except once, maybe twice on the weekends. So, after getting the replacement bulbs, I get under there and find out that when my battery had corroded a while back, some of it got onto the light socket, and has eaten away at one of the connectors. Went to the auto parts store, got the replacement, matched up which wire went ware, and hooked it all back up. Now, the problem, I have no highbeam on the drivers side now. Has anyone else had to do something similar, and know of a solution to this, or is it more than likely a bad connection somewhere? I have never tried anything like this before, so, anything is possible. So, went back, and looked at it again. One of the wires had slipped out of the connector. Works fine now.

What I did was cut the old connector (socket) off, and splice on a new one. Drove around last night, and the brights still worked. Will check it again when it stops raining, might rewrap the electrical tape.
