I'm trying to do a coolant flush and can't find the coolant valve on the block. I found a picture on the site that shows the GT location, but nothing specific to my engine.Does the '05 AWD engine have such a drain valve? any pictures would be helpful

well I managed to find the darn thing. Never did see, but I felt around and was able to hook up a drain line and drain the block.I would've taken a photo if I could have seen it.

Where on the engine block is it....front side or rear towards the firewall? What coolant did you refill with?I think after 6 years this is something Id like to do to our Vibe. I have a GM 3800 in another car that the DEXCOOL was never flushed and it was nasty when I picked it up with 82k on it.

I found the attached images on the MO site. the block drain is on the firewall side of the engine, just below & to the driver's side of exhaust port 1.My car was apparently already filled with Dexcool(orange), so I kept it with that since I was just doing a drain and fill. At some point I may do a flush and at that point I'll change it over to the pink Toyota stuff.
