GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

We have a 2004 Vibe that has had repeated problems with the driver side window. After researching these boards I see some mention of a recall, but the info. is sketchy. We are the original owners but never received a recall notice about this. So far it has cost us about $500 in out-of-warranty repairs. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Was the recall just for cars that were made in a certain factory and not all 2004?Thank you

The recall was for the power windows in the 2003-2004 models. There was a possibility the glass would shatter due to the bolts not being installed correctly(?). If your Vibe has power windows, then you should take it to the dealer and have them run the VIN, If it is part of the recall and you have had the work done that was what the recall was for, then you should be reimbursed.
