Fog lights not turning on

09 Vibe GT, just bought from dealer. Fog lights aren't coming on when i turn the switch. Tried with headlights on and off. Could this be fuse? where is this located? checked bulbs in fog light housings, and they don't look burnt out. any help? thanks.

Welcome to Genvibe! It's possible that it's a fuse or relay. They would be found under your hood. It's a black box by the driver side fender. Somehow the top pops off, and there would be a diagram on the inside of the lid. Check your owners manual for more details.

They only will come on when the headlights on. When I headlights I actually mean the low beams. They will not work with just the parking lights on. If they aren't coming on after the headlights are turned on, then heed the advice above!

Ironically, GM advertised with with parking lamps and fogs on without the low beams at the 08 North American Int'l Auto Show...

Thats funny. That just goes along with all of the crap thats wrong in the owners manual. Someone should've really proofread that thing.

No kidding. I found an illustration which suggests the Vibe is a V6 RWD car with straight pipes and a live axle!

checked fuses under hood and under dash, all good. is there a relay somewhere? very frustrating...

this may sound silly but did you ohm out the bulbs to see if they are good?
