1. What year? What version 1.8L, 2.4L, GT, AWD?2. Modifying the seat rail might be a problem. I would think that someone a mere 6'0" would not have a problem unless they were all legs, no body.

Not sure where to find it. But I know for sure I have seen the away.rail extended.

I'm 6'2" and fat. My seat is all the way back, lowered, and slightly tilted. I fit. Getting out is tricky, but, I got it down to a science. Lol

Welcome to GenVibe!!! Price looks ok, but it would need a good going over to nitpick at the details with. I'm 6'4, 190. Fit just fine! Mind you... I don't have a sunroof cutting down on headroom.

are people not cranking their seats down for more head room or something?I am 6'5 270lbs and fit with room to spare everywhere. My 07 had a sunroof and i had plenty of room there and my 03 has no sunroof and i have loads of space. I am at least 2-3 clicks from the back and can move the seat to where it is not a proper driving position being too far away. I had a buddy hop in mine and he had no issue at 6'7 with the seat pushed backed another couple clicks.I honestly can't understand how someone only 6' tall could have any issue whatsoever driving a vibe/trix.

I'm 6'4" and when I was shopping for a small car and ended up buying a Vibe, the Vibe/Trix was the most comfortable and easiest to get in and out of. I guess it depends on what you are used to.

I'm 6' 3" and 215 and I've owned an '03 and an 09 now. The 03 is a little snug. But with the seat back I was ok. My 09 is much more roomy. That price (depending on the year) is pretty good but if u can drive stick get the manual if at all possible. It's better suited

Wow, lots of tall Vibers chimed in! I'm 6'3.5", and the closest thing I have to an "issue" is seeing a stop light when I'm tight to an intersection. No shortage of dimensions anywhere else for me. I may need a 911 Targa to cure my "problem" someday lol.

Everything is modifiable you just need a GOOD imagination. Well some tools & a shop would also be helpful But on a serious note, I think the furthest position should work for you

the criagslist links i posted.is $6,000 a good deal on either of them or how much should i offer?

The one does not give the mileage but if it is around the 80000,90000 mile range it is a good deal, I think the 2005-2008 Vibe is better looking then the 03-04 due to losing the Aztek front end look.I don't know how much windshield replacement is in Cali but around here it is $200-$300 so that not a deal breaker here in MD. The CD play is not even an issue for me as that CD player sucks and you probably will rip it out for a replacement soon enoughI find the Vibe roomy and I am 6 foot 1 inch tall and north of 250lbs

This is the key to no kinks in your neck. http://www.lightinsight.com/ I have them in all my cars. Makes a massive difference, particularly on my Magnum, due to the longer roof line. I was always leaning forward and turning my head to the side to see lights. Cheapest and simplest thing ever you can purchase and slap on the window.

Keep in mind that most cars have less headroom when they have the optional Moon roof. I've not measured any Vibes to compare but just be aware and take notice of this frequent phenomenon.Dave

Maybe 4-5, at most.

I hate how every add i find for a vibe says " ToyotaMatrix with pontiac logos." like its the only way to sell how good the vibe is...

Remember the Vibe came out around the same time as the Chevrolet Aveo, itself a rebadged Daewoo. GM tried to keep that from perspective buyers since Daewoo had a lousy reputation.

Thanks for the link.it's placed near the top of the windshield so you never really need to look straight through it. After a while you forget it is even there and just enjoy the utility since it doesn't encroach on any normally viewed portion of the window.

I know this is my first post but I just bought my vibe a few weeks ago. I have been trolling around here looking for some mod tips. Anyhow, I would personally pass. I just paid $6,000 for my 03 vibe with 50,000 miles in perfect condition. It took me a few weeks to find this one and a 4 hour drive to go look at it and buy it but it was well worth it. My area my be diffrent than yours since Florida is the blue hair capital but I did see a few others close to this range. They are selling for this price with 75k to 80K miles from 03 to 06 on a regular basis in Florida.Fyi the previous owner was 89 and just had a stroke.

Oh, I forgot to add, to make my search a little easier I put a Craigslist app on my phone that notifies me any time a vibe is posted. I was able to adjust the settings to specific areas of my state and private owner sales only. You may want to look into some thing like this. The app was free and very helpfull.
