GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

So my line on some 17 inch Matrix wheels isn't working out, but I now have an opportunity to buy some 18 inch Matrix XRS wheels. What do you think? Supposedly in good shape for $200 total. This will be my summer wheels for my 09 Vibe AWD 2.4. The steel wheels are 39mm offset and I think these 18 inch are 45 mm. Should I go for it?

Those do look nice on the few Matrix that I've seen them on, and that is a great price. I know the Vibe GT wheels are 39mm, you can see the wheel measurements on the back of the wheel. If they are a different offset, 6mm is less than 1/4" so I don't think it would matter if they are installed on a Vibe or Matrix. There is a pic in this thread of the GT wheel measurements on the back of the wheel:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=46016But if they fit a Matrix with the 215/45/18 you can also run the 235/40/18s like I have.

Got them for $200. Really good shape. No curb rash. They are 39mm offset, so perfect fit. Now I'll have to figure out tire size and a good summer tire. I'm thinking 225/40 18.

You just committed a crime my friend If you got FOUR of them for that price then that truly was a STEAL I just had to pay close to $400 for one NEW GT rim for a damaged one on my 09GT, then another $180 or so for the rubber. You did outstanding !!! Congrats. Now whenever you get the rubber mounted on these, make sure you post pics so we can see how sharp your Vibe looks. A job well done so far
