So I've been looking around online at different options and I am tossing around the idea of some vinyl wrapping. It is super cheap, effective, looks good, and easy to do it yourself. I figured I would cut in at the middle bottom section of the front bumper and do the entire middle of the car. Hood, roof, hatch and both bumpers.. What do you guys think? I mean worst case scenario I put it on and dont like it and take it off.. $200 tops to do the entire job. I plan on putting black 18's on as soon as I find a set I like as well.. so it should accent nicely with matte black down the entire center.. And I'll even wrap the roof rack bars until I get a roof cap.

When you say "middle" you mean front, top and rear surfaces and you will leave the sides uncovered? Sounds great! I have been playing with my paint program (hey, I don't have photoshop) and when I ever get finished I will post for comments.What did you have in mind? Just a different color, or some kind of graphics?

I am going to do matte black for now.. I figured with blacked out lights in the back, sections of the head lights and black rims.. tinted windows.. the red paint.. matte black would look good down the middle section only.

"easy to do yourself"...nope, takes two people first off just to even remotely have a change with it, plus the $200 extra you spend in vinyl when you mess up. I tried vinyl wrapping my hood 3 times before it turned out bubble free. Cost $400, might as well have bought a CF hood. If you have skilled hands and can manage it, go ahead, but remember that if you mess up a tiny bit, the whole piece of vinyl is ruined.

Well a friend and I are going to do it.. I figure the worst will be that I do it, mess it up and throw it all away haha.. Should be an interesting weekend excursion.
