According to their website, Sylvania should be coming out with Silverstar turn signal bulbs by the fall...schweet!quote:What new product lines do you plan to offer? We plan to offer the H1, H3, H7, 880 and 893 SilverStar lamps starting summer/fall 2003. We also plan to offer SilverStar signal lights starting fall 2003.

I have had real good luck with them. They are relatively inexpensive and they are a colored glass instead of a bulb that is "painted" to look a certain color.

No offense, but I've had nothign but a horrendous track record with all APC products -- bulbs, accessories, etc., it was always crap. Every single thing of theirs I bought I had to return. BUt this is just MY personal experience...I'm holding out for Silverstars...

Somebody did already:
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=918The only problem is the Vibe has single element bulbs that do both low and high beams. HIDs can't so you loose the high beams.

talked to a civic owner the other day....we parked next to each other at night and he wanted to check out the vibe.....he had the silverstars in his civ and they werent nearly as bright and coolish blue as my APCs...and he paid more for his too! im sure they are great bulbs and i would use them too since they quit making the APC model that I like.....mine are 100/90 watt Xenon Super Whites...it shows they have them on stylincompacts.com but if you call up then they will tell you that the website has an error and they are actually not made anymore....sux...i have a spare set of backup bulbs that are 100/90 watt xenons by STREETGLOW so I will see how they are whenever my APC's die.

will that melt the inside plastic parts? I've heard of that happening if the bulb gets too hot.

They may not be street legal either. But as long as they are better for you, who cares if they blind oncomming traffic.
