New to the Forum and am currently looking for a 09 or 10 Vibe or perhaps a Matrix although the Matrix's are pretty scarce in my part of the country. Have a couple questions although I'll try and post these in the appropriate sections.Motoretro

2010 Vibe production was halted early - not too many made. Used car prices are so strong these days that it might make sense to buy a new 2011 Matrix rather than a used 2010 Vibe or Matrix, especially if you are financing as new cars generally have lower financing rates than used cars. If nothing more than for information purposes you might look at
http://www.carmax.com for used Vibe and Matrix pricing, and for new2011 Matrix pricing.

Jake, Thanks for the info. I know what you mean about used car prices. Some of the prices I've seen on 2010 Vibes are I believe actually higher than the close-out pricing GM did at the time. Plus buying used is like walking through a mine field. If your persistent enough though you can learn the ins and outs and the art of reading a CarFax. As far as purchasing new, Matrix's in my neck of the woods seem very scarce, especially since the problems in Japan. I've seen a total of (1) between two local dealers and it was a S w/ 1.8. Just noticed they put it into their rental fleet. While in some parts of the country, used car prices might be high, in my area stuff is sitting for quite a while and my guess is it's actual selling price is much lower than asking. Motoretro

My son had a 10 year old Chevy Impala - leather seats. Only 45,000 miles but a lot of issues, electrical, radio, front end etc. Honda dealer offered $3,500 in trade. A Chevy dealer paid him $4,500 cash for it. We were both amazed.
