Looking for some gifts for my Vibe this Christmas season! Has anyone ever installed power door locks on a 2003 Vibe that did not have the factory option? If so, which kit did you purchase? Many, Many Thanks!

Not sure about a kit, but you'll have to get into the doors to install wiring (also have a connection to the battery), so that the system will work.

Ordered a kit yesterday and it will be here tomorrow. Also, ordered a Cruise control kit that will be here today. Will be installing them over the next few days. I pulled one of my rear door panels off to get a look and also to inspect why the door speaker has never worked. No evidence the panel has ever been off (no plastic barrier tampering) and the speaker was not plugged in. The wire was there and not plugged into the speaker, may have been that way from the factory. I bought this 42K mile car from a 101 year old man that bought it new. He may not have noticed the speaker did not work. Anyway, the project will begin and I will have another working speaker to boot!

I managed to get cruise control installed and ran aground on the power door locks. The kit I purchased was not compatable, so I am looking for used components and will go that route. Cruise works great and was not that bad to install.

mnrelectronics.comIt is a universal kit, but I have used it for about 1,000 miles on highways and interstates with no issues. Works well and holds speed within +/- 1 mph based on grade as advertised.
