I found this thing just dangling inside the right trunk compartment, have no clue what it's supposed to do.

Holy crap. If I have this, I wanna do something with it. But what?! It would probably be tied to the radio power? Wait, do satellite antennas need power?

could it be a wiring harness plug to hook up trailer lights?

^ That was my uneducated thought on it. I like when these headscratcher threads come up.

The number/letters on it were as follows: PA6 CB20(either a 1 or a 4)GP10. Rockauto came up with nothing. Can someone WITH XM on their Vibe please chime in here?

Here's a link to a Crutchfield Sirius installation manual and it states that the '04-06 Vibes (non-Base) had the XM tuner located in the "right rear quarter panel." Im pretty sure that the 03-08 Vibes came with the Monsoon Stereo Option with the Rear Sub, that would probably be the Connector for the Rear Amp/Sub Set up as it would have been in that corner - They usually build the Harnesses with all the connectors and set ups so they only have to make one main harness - wether or not it is powered up or not is another question - test to see if you have power when you turn on your stereo, it may not work unless you have the upgraded stereo - I'll see what i can find out here @ work to shed some more light

This is brilliant detective work. I looked, and I have this cable zip-tied up and out of sight. Do you think it's connected to my HU? I have the Moon & Tunes with the 6CD changer in dash.I have to ask... can I just simply purchase a GM SR1 (finding them for around $45), attach a Sirius antenna to it and move my account over to that setup to continue my SiriusXM service? I'd be in heaven if I can get that to work. I hate my radio now, and if I can have a cleaner setup, I'll do it.

Apologies for bumping this thread, but I didn't receive emails when new replies came and forget about it! Thanks for your hard work to figure out what the connector was for, but I'm curious could if this is indeed an input could I hack it into an AUX input for my 2004 M&T radio? Crazy, but I don't want to do any hard wiring like these other tutorials.

Crazy, but I don't want to do any hard wiring like these other tutorials. That's a good idea! My son's car does not have the monsoon stereo, and the one thing he does miss is an ipod hookup. So if this would provide a place to splice in for the AUX input, that would be good.
