Haha... Very true, but I prefer to just use the mower to mulch them... Good fertilizer for next year....

Since moving to this house back in 2004, I've removed a good portion of the maple trees close to the house, cutting our leaf count by quite a bit. I also prefer to mulch the majority since my push mower has a bag, and I just dump them in the garden and till them in. JR

Oh, I don't mind raking LEAVES!! I've got Black Walnut Trees and Shaggy Bark Hickory trees in my yard. Talk about nuts!!! This year especially, the nut volume is HUGE!!! The black walnuts tend to drop and decompose turning BLACK......hence the stain named BLACK WALNUT!! Leaves are easy, nuts not so much.My grandson (4 yrs old) picked up some of the Black Walnut, had a grand old time with them.........stained hands for almost two weeks!! I could make my own....
