The thing with cats is that they are entirely self-centered. Sure, they may act affectionate every now and then, but that's only because they can get something out of it. A cat will never sacrifice anything for its person.Dogs, on the other hand, have true sacrificial affections for their people.

We had cats when the girls were young (the things parents do for their offspring!!!) and the only time any cat jumped up to be petted or snuggle was when the temps were low and he/she was COLD and wanted your body heat!Dave
