I haven't played a cd in over a year.... and can't remember off hand if they're capable of mp3 cd playing.

The USB port for my mp3 player not working anymore.. I have to go retro.. to CD.By the way, a good advice for how to insert or remove the USB port is pull straight and NOT Wiggle it or else it damage the board that connect directly to the USB port.Is there a better way to make the 4 speaker sound a bit better.. what is your equalizer setting? I feel the 2 speaker sound system from my good old 96 corolla sounds better than the vibe.

For mp3's I never download something that's lower then 192... most of mine are 256. Don't allow volume equalization on your computer or when downloading/burning a cd.I believe my EQ is set for 75% bass, treb, and mid. Balanced equally left/right front/back... and don't let passengers set anything beside the speaker, pile that jacket in the back!

Let me try.it look like you have the base OEM unit. Do they work well with mp3? Could the HU read MP3?Only manual tune equalizer setting are better. I don't like those Jazz/rock/clasical..etc presets.

Manual tuning all the way. And rechecking, bass and treb are 75%, mid is 60%.I've never put an mp3 cd into mine... I'll have to dig one up and give it a try.
