Underside cladding loose on 2004

We heard a strange sound under our 2004 Vibe and found some of the underside cladding had come loose, pulled away from the screw and was dragging. Since I drive on mostly paved roads we decided to remove that section by unscrewing the other 2 screws rather go to the expense to repair. Although the screws are all still there since its molded there was no way to reattach. Have you had that trouble?

Most people use zip ties. Half of my clips are actually ties. I would reinstall it for winter. Part of mine has a hole in it and I when I noticed it I found giant chunks of ice are forming in the engine bay. Could potentially cause a problem, I could see it forming over a wiring harness and have the weight pull something out. I need to fix mine...

This is kinda common to be honest. Few folks (members) have had the plastic under-the-car-shielding (as I like to call it) come loose or have a whole appear in the wheel well shroud.

Thanks for suggesting the zip ties, good idea.

Yes, "Under-the car-shielding" is a better description of it. I did read about the holes in the wheel well shroud.
