When they become available for the 2009-10 I am going to have Monroe OESPECTRUM struts and shocks installed. These new shocks are design to .......... "providing increased stability and control, OESpectrum shocks and struts help eliminate the ride harshness commonly encountered in many foreign-nameplate models due in part to the stiffer spring rates and lower profile tires on many of these vehicles. “The owners of foreign-nameplate vehicles often complain about the harshness that comes with low profile tires and a stiffer suspension, yet they appreciate the tighter control their vehicles provide when they’re brand new,” said Bill Dennie, director, channel management, North American Aftermarket, Tenneco. “OESpectrum units help eliminate the tradeoff between control and ride quality and our testing has shown that consumers notice and appreciate the difference......"http://www.monroe.com/products/OESpectrumNote: They are available for the 2008 model Matrix and Vibe.

They sound interesting, although I really don't mind the ride of our 09 GTs.Just curious, has Monroe for sure said they're going to be coming out with these for 09-10 Vibes/Matrices? So far, all they have for 09-10 Vibes/Matrices is a strut mount kit.

What I concluded from looking at their catalog online is that they will not add it to the line until the car is about 3-4 years old. Who is going to buy or need a new replacement shock or strut for a new car? Like I stated they have it for the 2008 vibe/matrix models. The Oespectrum is a new shock as of this year. BTW, there is a YouTube video chip from Monroe promoting it.
