Name: JamesAge: 31Occupation: I own a tattoo studio and run an Ebay store selling vintage clothing & toys, also work in warehouse logistics for a large-ish ladies’ clothing retailer. Here's a cover-up through the various steps.. one of my favorites. Also a daddy: Ride(s): 2003 Satellite Vibe GT, 2004 Neptune Vibe, 1986 Volkswagen Golf WE, 1990 VW Golf GLCongratulations on being voted GenVibe’s Member of the Month. How does it feel? Pretty cool, to be honest. I always enjoy voting for deserving members and it’s nice to feel the love, y’know? How did you find GenVibe and what made you join? My brother-in-law bought an ’04 Vibe brand new (which we now own) and always spoke very highly of the car. He’s someone whose opinion I trust, and we bought our ’03 GT based on his recommendation. While shopping for it, I found GenVibe. Since I swore to myself that I would really try and learn about my next car purchase, the forum has been invaluable. What is one of the more memorable things you have seen on GenVibe? Civility. What is your favorite thing about the site? The sense of community and lack of idiots. Oh, and this: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=44627 (give it a try if you haven’t yet!)If GM brought back the Vibe what would you like to see in the new model? A move back to the aesthetics of the first generation Vibe. I’m not a fan of the redesigned version and probably still wouldn’t buy one. As you know we love animals at GenVibe, do you have any pets? We have a dog, Sammy Davis Junior Jr. She’s deranged:..You’re given $250,000 to spend only on a new car, what do you buy? I buy a 1990 AWD VW Golf limited Country edition and spend the other $242,000 importing it and (never available in the US) and lovingly maintaining it.If you didn’t have to answer to anyone for anything, what would you do? Pretty close to what I’m doing now, i.e. some form of art. I think I’d give up on tattooing in favor of illustrating children’s books. What’s your favorite?:Movie: The Big Lebowski (still)Food: Sushi (although I’ve been crazy about eggs and hot sauce lately)Color: they’re all pretty darn useful and nice to look at. For cars, I like ugly 80’s colors.TV Show: Lately, Mad Men. All time, Carnivale.Game: ScrabbleSeason: SpringSport: Scrabble’s not a sport? Probably baseball. I was a fanatic growing up.Hobby: I’ve been trying my hand at graffiti lately. Book/Magazine: Vonnegut, HS ThompsonPerson: My wife Any last words? Can’t sleep. Clown will eat me.

thanks folks! You guys rock. I agree, the l'il one is a cutie oh, and the VW mentioned above is a sweet car and pretty rare (had some low production numbers). The Golf Country was only available in Europe and Canada and was basically a 4 door MK2 Golf with VW's Syncro AWD option. I want one, badly.
