My wife has a 06 vibe and I stumbled across this forum while trying to diagnose an Air Conditioning problem. Needless to say I ordered the A/C Clutch through GMPartsDirect.com which took forever to receive. In the mean time through all this hot weather with my wife being pregnant I broke down and had a local shop fix the A/C (rebuilt compressor + Receiver Drier) ...... $$$ Ouch! Anyway the Vibe is a 06 and had around 76,000 miles in which we haven't had any other issues. I have been around on the Grand Am forums and 60degreev6 boards for several years and enjoy working on my cars and keeping them out of the shop when avoidable. With the Vibe needing little things here and there, I am sure I will be around here more often.

How come some side rockers come down and out a little, and others have a shaved smooth tucked look? Mine originally had the same look as his. Just curious.

Just curious. Not sure, other than if it is the year or the body package. This is an 2006, with the sport package according to the window sticker.

Just curious.Kinda wierd, but for o3-o4, the monotone vibes did not have the rocker panels, but the two tone cars (w gray cladding) had the panels. From o5 on, the rocker panels came standard, whether monotone or two tone. Don't know whyOP, welcome from another midwesterner. You'll have a blast on the site. Great folks

the 03 vibes didn't ever come with the rocker panels. there was an optional upgrade to have the 04 panels installed on the 03. this is what i've come to figure from searching around on this site. considering mine doesn't have them and it's a 2 tone.
