Just a few days ago I picked up a 2007 Vibe, white, 5 speed. It was chosen because I wanted an American station wagon or small van which got good mileage. A Focus wagon was the first choice but they feel kind of "cheap". The Vibe could use a little more cargo capacity but otherwise it's perfect. It looks great, is a blast to drive and is a great value. It's got 94K on it so the first priority was to make sure all maintenance was up to date. With only 20 miles from the ride home, this morning we went to Pep Boys and spent $200 on everyhting necessary for a proper tune-up. Though the car's performance is impressive for 1.8L, I'm much more concerned with MPG than speed, so all work is aimed at that goal. I live in downtown Philadelphia and filled the car on the way home from picking it up. Drove 27 miles before tuning it up. The car is really clean and I'm glad to have it. I don't know if they were standard on it but it has power locks & windows, ABS and side curtain airbags. After 27 miles it took a hair over 1 gallon of gas, which is likely not an accurate way to calculate mileage as it was 100% in-city driving and is pushing the gas pumps margin of error. The car appears to have been well treated and is 100% stock and original. Nothing appears to have been altered and there is no evidence of any repairs. If anyone would care to comment on important things to check, please let me know. I look forward to being a member of this great forum.Thank you!

The power package -locks, windows, cruise - was pretty common but ABS not so much, and side air bags even less so. Someone posted a website where you could enter your VIN and it would give you a breakdown of the commonality or rarity of each option. Here's the page for my VIN http://www.compnine.com/vid.ph...69945and you can type your VIN there and find your specs.
