Totally dead! Checked fuses..

I hooked up my battery tender to my vibe the other night, but when I went to start it today, I got absolutely nothing. There are no dash lights, no response from the keyfob or key, or any indication that it's alive at all. There was a lot of corrosion on the positive terminal which I cleaned up with baking soda/water. The battery currently reads 13.1V on the multimeter. I checked all of the small fuses for continuity in two locations (hood and under the steering wheel). I even hooked up my motorcycle battery to see if it would power the dash lights. That was a no go..Now I'm wondering if it's the battery cable that's dead from corrosion. Maybe charging the battery with the tender released more gas and killed the cable? How can I check for this? My next step would be to buy a new battery, but I really don't want to do that yet.Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

You should be good to go. Remember, over 90% of all electrical problems are due to faulty grounds. Make sure you have a good ground connection. Good luck By the way, introduce yourself, post pics of your Vibe, and WELCOME to GenVibe

Thanks guys, that was it!I spliced the end of the secondary positive (non-starter) battery cable. The old one had nasty corroded green stuff where wire should have been. Too bad you can't just use a standard replacement cable.
