So I went to burger king today and as I rolled up to the drive thru in my 09 Vibe GT the girl at the window said "aww what a cute car" not sure whether to be offended or not lol.

More important, was the girl in the window cute?

I would say that the 1st gen Vibes are cute, but the 2nd gen is definitely more agressive looking. I have been told that mine is cute LOL.

"She WANTS you . That was a pick up line if I ever heard one She just didn't have the nerve to say "what a cute guy driving that Vibe" so instead she compliments the Vibe. Go for it if it seems worthwhile

LOL! I wouldn't exactly consider it a "cute" car per say. Sexy... yes... cute... eh .

Cute.. NEVER!!!!!! The VW Beetle is a "cute" car.. Do you REALLY want it to be seen like that?

I wouldn't have called it cute either... Lol. I agree though, she was probably just trying to get your attention and compliment you passively.

Lol she probably was but I have always been oblivious to that stuff. And no I hope are cars aren't thrown into the same "cute" bunch as the beetle.

Women like the flash of the red paint! The correct response is to flirt back, say something catchy/witty and make her smile! (yes, I've played this game before )Quote, originally posted by jake75 »And you didn't respond . . ? "Yeh, and the seats go waaaaay back!""let me put the rear seats flat (helpful tip: Move the front seats forward as well...)"

yeah, the hatchback part is great when you have a girlfriend... considering she likes the vibe over the yukon and firebird. it;s nice when it's raining and you just open the hatch, and you have a covered tailgate!

Blocks any inclement weather beautifully, gives you plenty of room to lay out..

Never thought of that. I really want to take the vibe to a drive in now. Haven't been since I was a young lad.

Every now and again someone will say it's "cute" then there's the dreaded "grandma car" I never really minded "grocery getter"I've had several people straight up ask me, "What kind of car is that? I've never seen one of those"

yeah, usually middle aged women here. there's one guy with a 2 tone metallic silver then there's me. One lady has an '03 frosty white, her husband drives it occasionally. probably to get parts for his 1987 Buick Grand National.

A luxury one. She wants to trade it for a Vibe, the new Regal or a Cruze (all of which I have helped gotten her interested in). She hates big cars actually. My other pair of grandparents own a 2011 Buick Lacrosse and an F150 with a 5th wheel attachment so they can go camping. Around here, there's a guy with a lava, several middle-aged women with satellites (one who works at city hall), an 09 AWD which I always see in their driveway, a daycare teacher with a decaled lava, the Advanced Auto 09s, applejuice, me, and other anonymous Vibes. There was actually a white 09 GT I was following on my way to work at 5:30 am one day, but I haven't seen him since then. Someone on my hill bought a silver Matrix, too. Hey may, at least you haven't gotten a "Oh my gosh, your hands are freaky soft!" Thankfully though a job in the heat sweeping cuts up your hand pretty well, but only in direct places.

Every since I applied the body kit and painted the siding black, I always get the "What kinda car is that?!" .... and they are driving a matrix.... before the body kit all I got was "Girls Car" everyone laughed at me when I said I wanted to hook it up =o

Please don't take offense, but isn't it amazing how many "mature" drivers drive a Vibe? I constantly flash my "V" (peace sign!) to older drivers who disregard what an incredibly cool car they chose. I ask people how cool the Vibe is and they say, "way cool" but, for the older driver, it must be the hook of the fuel economy, as, to me, the Vibe is a younger persons' car... just sayin'

I live in a college town and have seen more Vibes than I have elsewhere, so I definitely get the image of it being a young person's car. And the Vibe is totally cute, it's part of the reason I bought one. Then again I also think the Camaro is adorable so I'm sure someone contests my use of adjectives.

My dad had to drive it at some point, I wonder if anyone looked at him and wondered at the flower print seat covers...And flower decals on the back window, which I am going to remove soon so I can replace them with a Royal Crest of Hyrule decal.
