Thank God for the internet

I felt it necessary to pay tribute to the developers of the internet. It has forced auto makers to look even closer at their quality. No longer can they claim "nobody else has had a problem with their brakes". So raise your glasses and drink to the lot of them. Cheers!

Yes I applaud the internet when I went to go get my Vibe I knew more about it then the salesman did. Its kind of funny but when I knew they were arriving at the dealership that I bought mine at I looked at the first two off the truck this winter. I looked at them while the porters were still cleaning them up.

Yes, when I went in to order my Vibe, the salesman kept pointing out all the features and I was like "I know, I know." I told him about this website actually.

quote:Yes I applaud the internet when I went to go get my Vibe I knew more about it then the salesman did. Not hard to know more than a salesperson. They are more concerned with getting into your wallet than their product knowledge. The internet was not necessary to know more than a salesperson in the 70's and 80's though. All you needed was some observational skills and read Road and Track, Car and Driver and Motor Trend. The Internet just gives you free access (after you pay your ISP) to 100 times more info than your salesperson will ever take the time to read so they won't ever have a chance. Now if you could only tell when you are being fed b....... You could check if the lips are moving, that is the giveaway.
