buying a second Vibe!

Hey there GenVibe, long time no update..We don't have the new one yet, but we'll be taking possession within the next 2 weeks or so. I'm excited, had to share My brother-in-law is buying himself a new car and is selling us his 2004 Neptune M&T base for a song. He's the 1st and only owner, so we know the exact history and the car has been extremely well-maintained. It's got about 125k on the clock (just barely broken in by Vibe standards), comes with a few bells and whistles (custom cargo mat that I made him for Christmas one year, OEM behind-the-seat storage bags, OEM or Weathertech(?) rubber Vibe mats, etc etc. It's an auto (the only downside in my opinion). And the best part? I get to daily our Satellite GT again I've decided that trying to daily a 25 year old VW is too damn stressful so that car is going into full-on project mode. It's going to be stripped down, gutted, refreshed, repainted, etc.I've been driving the GT to work and back for the last few days and I'm falling in love all over again Plans on the horizon (for both cars) include picking up some Scion TC wheels for the GT, blasting and powdercoating the 16" alloys on the GT to replace the steelies on the Neptune, full detail on both cars, finally installing the brass shifter bushings on the GT and perhaps getting an SRI for the base.
