Hey there, fairly new to the site and wanted to share my ride!So my summer project has been to make my vibe look good! its a slow process cause I'm paying for rent and school but its coming along.Here is my car now:Mods:- Custom (homemade) billet grille- 17" Eagle Alloy wheels- JVC Aftermarket Deck- 200W Pioneer amp & 10" Subwoofer- Debadged all around (excluding front) And my future mod plans are:- Window tint (just waiting to hear from a friend if he can get me a good price)[DONE]- Calipers painted (putting new brakes on sometime next week i hope so i will do this then)[DONE]- Tail lights tinted (probly will be done when i'm doing calipers and whatnot)- Paint cladding. Startin to show stains and faded. needs a fresh coat. maybe a little darker this time- Paint rims white (will be done over the winter when i have snow tires on)Wish list:- New body paint (not going to happen anytime soon i dont think haha)I'm good with photoshop so I made myself a little photo to look at until I can get all of this done haha. I like your plans, but I would keep the wheels the color they are now. I think they look good as is.

They match the cladding (despite the aging). However, I dig the (I'm guessing) Pitt Pirates theme of the sticker and calipers matching. Subtle way to match items in a theme. I have done the same exact thing with a Pontiac-red Old English Detroit "D" on the windshield and my red calipers.And your tint will look great. Take it from another Abyss owner. Welcome to the fray.I do like the way the rims look and match the cladding and i was on the fence about painting them so im glad to hear your guys' opinions.also you hit the nail on the head on the theme. Im also doing the interior of the car the same black and yellow theme. I actually finished painting some interior trim and dash items yellow today. I've also, since that update painted my calipers and tinted my tail lights. Will get photos as soon as i it shined up.

Looks good! And welcome to the family.Yellow calipers work great on that vibe. I'd keep the wheels the same color And definitely drop it a couple of inches.

Looks good, I've painted my cladding black, it was a bit of work but WAY worth it!

I'd say sand the cladding so it isn't rough I had planned on doing that on my 03 vibe but since my accident it did not happen.

Finally got out to take some pictures today. went on a camping trip this last weekend and had lots of people in the car with me. i got so many compliments on my yellow interior! also got 2 new 10" Rockford Punch Subs todayand an appointment Saturday morning to get the windows tinted!which btw I wanted to ask your opinions on what percentage to get on the front and back windows. In Ontario its illegal to "significantly decrease visibility" of the front windows. I don't think there is a specific number limitation tho. What percentage did you guys go? and what do you recommend for an abyss with blacked out tails?

Also required a few rolls of masking tape and a Sunday newspaper....and a fine sandpaper. It's wasn't to hard to do, you just have to make sure you do it in a well ventilated area that is dust free ( as possible ), and took me about....6-7 hours prep and clean with the help of another person. Anyone have questions about this just shoot me a message, more likely to answer that way

I really like the color of the wheels right now, unless maybe you wanna powdercoat them yellow? And the interior looks fresh man. Also, I was gonna suggest maybe using the redout film over the yellow section of the taillights instead of tinting, but I guess you already did that.The tint on my car is 35% on the front 4 windows and 15% on the back 3....looks great and the difference doesn't stick out like an eyesore either.

OH, and since you got a black/yellow thing goin, I figured I'd throw this up there...Yellow Lamin-X over your stock fogs...sure to turn some heads
