I know someone on here had 'em, but I couldn't find the thread via search. Who has the rubber floor mats with the Vibe logo on them, how much did they cost, and how do you like them? Are they holding up?

I bought them from a local dealership. They were $45. At first I thought "$45......holy crap!!!". However, after purchasing them, I must say that was one of the BEST $45 I have spent in a while. They are heavy.....nice and thick. They are cut to fit the floor of the Vibe and have a kind of honeycombed pattern in them to keep loose stuff from being kicked or brushed to the carpet. They do WONDERS for protecting your carpet. In short.....I give 'em my highest recomendation! Holding up very nicely as well.Jim

Can you snap some pics of them for me perhaps? Also, do you happen to have the invoice with the part number on it?Thanks kissfan!

I'll try and find the invoice. If you go to the dealer (or call 'em up), they should be able to pull the part number from the little accessories catalog. I would take some pictures, but my wife is visiting her family and she has the camera Perhaps I can take a quick video with my camcorder.*EDIT* I just remembered....I don't have a video card with video capture any more. I know we have another camera around here somewhere. I'll try and find it.

Ok, found the following floor mat part numbers:12498520 Floor Mats, Vinyl All-Season Vinyl, Front, Graphite (All) 12498155 Floor Mats, Vinyl All-Season Vinyl, Rear, Graphite (4-Door, All-Wheel Drive) 12498111 Floor Mats, Vinyl All-Season Vinyl, Rear, Graphite (4-Door, Includes GT) Do you think the second rear mat set, 12498111, is most likely the set for the base model as well, since they don't really say?

from som eof the pics i have seen, i think they look good new. but i saw some that looked dirty. i think theyd be hard to clean. from my experience with rubber, you can wash it all you want, but dirt stick to it, kinda like a chalky film. but then again i havent actually seen any in person. they do add a sporty look thou.

Do you ever find them hard to clean? Do things stick to them? Have you ever been able to not clean them? I'm very seriously considering getting them...

I'm very seriously considering getting them...Yes they are a little difficult to clean near the raised edges, but I would rather be cleaning rubber than the carpeted mats. I haven't noticed anything really sticking to mine. I usually scrub them last when doing a thorough cleaning of my car. Then let them sun dry. They look and hold up great! Mine were a total of $90.10 from the parts department at my Pontiac dealer with tax included. I don't regret getting them at all.

I have always bought Weathertech car mats from
http://www.mats.com. The set of four costs about $89 for black, $99 for grey or tan. You tell them your car make and model and the front mats are designed basically for that model. The rear mats generally fit, but they have cut lines to allow a better fit. I like the Weathertech mats, as they seem to wear really well (have had them in five cars now) and look good. The black ones I got for my Vibe look real sharp, with a red striping. I also got a Weathertech rear cargo cover, which is specifically designed for the Matrix/Vibe. I got that in grey and it matches the color of the rear area perfectly. Also, I ordered one day and it seemed that it was shipped the next day and I received it right after that. I highly recommend them. Also, no sales tax unless you live in IL (which, unfortunately, I do).

I went to Wal-Mart and spent a whole $25 on all four. They dont have the logo and they're not cut to fit the car exactly, but I think that they are better than the pontiac ones. I've seen them and mine have deeper tread and have tall edges which hold alot of everything. Plus, they cover the same area. I dont know, I just can't see spending all hat money on rubber floor mats.

I have the rubber matts for my Vibe and I have the matts for my Nissan Xterra as well. They are fantastic!! I think every car should have them! They are nearly indestructable and you don't have to worry about wearing them out, or getting them dirty. I use my Xterra for off-roading and i have tracked in snow, dirt, mud, you name it. Then when I get home, I take out the matts and simly hose them off. BAM! good as new.One thing though, I bought the Xterra ones at
http://www.xterraparts.com for about $50. That included all four. The ones for the Vibe, cost me nearly $80. The Xterra ones are MUCH thicker and more durrable. The Vibe ones (by GM) are much thinner and are made from a cheaper rubber. Yet they cost more.

The WeatherTech cargo liner. I got this in grey, not black, because I wanted to match the color of the rear area.

Another pic of the cargo liner. Close up of the label. The cargo liner has three places in the back which can be cut out to gain access to the locks for strapping car seats in the back seat.

Thanks. I believe it matches really well. You can get the floor mats in that color as well. That may be better if you have the light grey interior.

That liner is nice...I like how it has the raised edges to contain spills...Would've been wonderful to help me during my oil fiasco...

The other nice thing about the liner is that it isn't hard smooth plastic like the back of the Vibe, so things don't slide around on it. This is the third car I have used a WeatherTech liner in. I find them easy to use and clean. (Hey, I sound like a commercial. They should pay me for this!)

I ordered a set of the black ones this morning. Hope they get here soon. My biggest gripe with the carpet mats that came with the car is that the spot where your heel rests wears through very quickly. My Blazer had a plastic insert in the heel area and it held up much longer.

I think you'll like the black mats. They are great looking, especially with the red striping.

I bought a set of heavy duty rubber mats from Costco for 35.00 USD. They r very rugged and have deep treads. I've had three sets, and they have been awesome. My only complaint is since they r generic, they don't fit the front area *exactly*.

How deep are the front treads on WeatherTech front mats ?The grooved part looks to be very deep but what about the part under the pedals? Is there a tall side wall ? thanks

I got my GM Mats Today, and boy are they HEAVY! Well worth every penny! How do they hold up? My Carpet mats are going in storage until summer.

Mine have held up fantastically...My carpet mats went into permanant storage..even duiring the summer I use the rubber ones to keep rainwater from runing the carpet...

I agree with Ragingfish. I got my rubber mats about a year ago and had planned to take them out over the summer and put the carpet ones back in, but never did. They fit, and look, so well in the car I didn't mind leaving them. They still look great too.

my Vibe Rubber Mats are freakin great! I work construction currently so I track lots of mud, dirt, grime into my car, granted the seat looks a bit iffy, but the floor mats really hold the dirt and are fairly easy to clean with a squirt of a hose and a stiff brush. Definately worth the $$.

I love my all-weather mats too! They're awesome at trapping, food, dirt, etc. I will never go back to carpet mats. Plus, they're child friendly! haha
