new vibe :)

hello, i just picked up a vibe yesterday off Craigslist and found this forum.i bought a 93 awd vibe with 200k for 2,000. very little rust , under side is clean just some rust starting around the rear door handles.just wondering if anyone else has one with this many miles

Some people here have Vibes in the 400,000+ range... and a few in the 200,000+ range too

lol wow , yes i meant 2003 glad to hear these can last a while. when i bought it i was worried about having to replace the timing belt , only to find out it has a timing chain instead, +1 for toyota.

Welcome! I was very happy myself when i found out about the timing chain. As a new do it myselfer, I have found that this site has many posts about the little things one might not think about as far as maintenance, AND how to do most of it, which have helped these cars go the extra 200k. Good luck with your new investment, I am anxious to see pics!
