gezz, you just signed up and already had some bad luck with the car. Hope it's not a write of and I hope your wife doesn't suffer any long term issues with the accident

Thanks guys. I'm not sure we'll be able to get another one, however I do want to point out something that thoroughly impressed me. She was hit at roughly 50 MPH and the Vibe held up like a champ. She was basically t-boned and my 10yr old daughter was on the impact side. The side airbags did what they were supposed to and the impact was distributed properly. I'm feel that the Vibe's low stance also kept them from rolling over as well. Very, very thankful for the safety of the car.

Let us know the outcome of your decisions

It wouldn't be impossible. But we kinda played the system. Bought 2 cars on my wife's credit within a day of each other so no one would figure it out. Now that cats out of the bag so to speak. Nothing's impossible though, and I sure as HECK will try. This time though I'd look for a 2.4

Boy can I relate to that Back in 1986, bought my first house, a whopping $38k, and the day of closing, went to the Ford dealer and bought a new '87 Ford Escort Neither financial institution knew what the other was doing so it looked like I still had NO DEBT! Pulled it off just fine and all went well. Good luck in purchasing another Vibe ESPECIALLY with the 2.4L engine
