blower motor doesn't work

Hi all,I've found several threads on this site discussing blower motors not working. Many of the fixes deal with replacing the blower motor resistor. It has been stated in a couple of the posts that the resitor will fail to the high speed only. I'm not getting any speeds. I've pulled the fan out. It's clean, but does spin with a little resistance, so I was going to replace that. Was just wondering if the resistor has a failure mode with all speeds not working, not just the lower ones. Any recommendations as to what else could be bad? This is a 2008 Vibe. Thanks a bunch.

If it's not the resistor, maybe somethings become unplugged or a fuse blown.

Check the fuse. Do you have the ability to apply a current to the blower to see if it spins with current applied to it? Often auto parts stores will do this for you if you go in with the blower. With no speeds, though, chances are it is a fuse.

That was my first thought - fuse - but from what I can tell, the blower fuse is shared by several other things that still work. I will take the blower up to autozone and see if they can make it spin. Thanks
