You strap chunks of sword-like sharp steel to your feet, chase a frozen piece of rubber then try to whack said piece of rubber into your opponents net and if your opponent gets in your way you can cream him into the boards, clobber him with great speed, call him a sissy and beat the crap out of him if he becomes unruly all the while beer guzzling hoseheads (like me) yell and cheer and yell "comments" towards anything happening on the ice! Sure beats the hell out of basketball or cars driving in a circle!!! We also have a similar sport called 'curling' but it involves brooms, more beer and rocks!!!

The 'Nucks have been my 2nd favorite team for a long time, and I've been pulling for them as soon as Ottawa was done every season. This is their year, finally!

I stopped watching after Bossy, Nystrom, Trottier, Potvin, Smith, Gillies and Al Arbour left the scene. Ah, the memories.

I'm a huge Bruins fan, however as I've said on facebook, I won't be sad if Vancouver wins either... but isn't this a rematch of the gold medal Olympic game? Luongo vs Thomas?

This year doesn't matter to me because WINNIPEG IS BACK next year!!!!

It would be interesting to see them come back as the jets.Anyways, the Canucks did the hawks in. I'll give them that. And withluongo playing back in the net more, he seems unbeatable. But once the bruins get him rattled, they'll be in his head. To tell the truth, i thought the bruins/lightning series felt like a Stanley cup final.

Vancouver now 2-0 It will be nice to see a Canadian team win their cup And next year maybe Winnipeg ???

Let's see who they get player-wise after the moving and shuffling... But I'd bet dollars to donuts that the Winnipeg _____s will be better then Toronto! (I do hope they re-name them the Jets!)Let's Go Canucks!!!

I think the series will be going 7 as well. Vancouver looked sharp for the first two, now Boston has REALLY kicked it up a few notches. Tim Thomas is insane! Gonna be some good games ahead, hoping for Vancouver to take it!

You realize it's baseball season right? Hockey runs WAY too long into other sports of interest to the U.S. unfortunately.

Fortunately for us Canadians, baseball is not considered a sport that needs to be "watched". Baseball is in the same catagory as golf up here. haha

You solidified my point. Basketball is a waste of time as well. At least to me.

This haw turned into a real final. Thomas is playing out of his head (out of his crease too, which makes me nervous, but the guys are stepping up for him). And the bruins scored some pretty goals. Keep shooting up around luongo's ears, guys

I love the Canucks, but I have to say I'm not impressed with the Sedins. They should get an unbonus for their poor performance in the final!Good thing for these two teams that the 09-10 Blackhawks had to split up. Otherwise, the Hawks would be cup champs again already.

You're unimpressed that Boston has done their homework and has been able to relativly stop the Sedins?I predict that Torres will get the game winner on Monday and Thomas will get rocked one of these times he's way out of the blue paint!

Its great guys like Kesler, and Lapierre are stepping it up.

Game 7 Wednesday!!! Thought it might end this way.... there's either going to be a happy, winning riot in downtown Vancouver or an angry mob riot in downtown Vancouver!!!

Looking forward to game 7 and i'll be cheering for Vancouver. However, with the amount of bad penalties and diving that they have been doing I won't be too upset if they lose...

Game night! Hopefully it'll be a close one and not a blowout for either side.

Got my Bruins jersey on. I really want to cheer for Vancouver, but I've been a Bruins fan for as long as I can remember... but either ending will be happy for me, just the Bruins winning will be a happier one.

Vancouver needed a little more 'offence' on the ice, a little less on the streets.

Canadians don't know how to start fires like that. I contend that those were English hooligans brought in to stir up trouble. They came for the soccer; they stayed for the riots.

I am a big Wings fan, but didn't expect much out of them this year. Before the playoffs started, I called for the Bruins or Tampa to take it this year... Well, Bruins and Tampa ended up in the ECF and we all know that the Bruins won Lord Stanley.Bruins = Bear aka OU.GrizzlyMichigan = Where Tim Thomas is from
