I don't post much, and this is for my wifes car. She has an 05 Vibe AT 1zz. When I go home on leave I have to do some tune-ups on it and I thought I would knock off an intake while I'm at it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...2467bMy price limit is 100 bucks or so for one. Should I go ebay, Cosmo SRI, or Cosmo CAI? Just looking for a little better mileage, and if it helps give this gutless car a little more pep on the highway, that's fine by me. More concerned that the part will fit ok and it has a decent filter. Great car, but I have two liter bikes so I'm not really looking for a few tenths in the 1/4 on it.

I HAVE A 09 GT WITH A MASS AIR; THAT I PURCHASED FROM AUTOGRIMMIG, WHICH HAVE A WEBSITE BUT ALSO SELL STUFF ON EBAY. IT'S A PRETTY NICE FILTER AND POLISHED ALUMINUM PIPE SETUP. LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE COSMO BASIC SETUP BUT WAS HALF THE PRICE. I THINK I PAID $60 OR SO SHIPPED. YOU WILL NOTICE A LITTLE INTAKE NOISE, BUT I THINK I FELT A LITTLE OFF THE LINE; OR JUST BE THAT IT SOUNDS FASTER?? LOL ALSO INSTALLED A MAGNAFLOW. COMBINED HELPED OUT MY MPG; (1.5-1.7) AVERAGE. AFTER GETTING USED TO THE SOUND AND STOP LAYING INTO THE PEDAL; MY WIVES NUMBERS AFTER THE LAST 10 OR SO FILLUPS HAVE BEEN THAT MUCH BETTER. BTW, HER AVERAGE HIGHWAY SPEED IS 80 MPH.

Yup, looks like an aluminum pipe with a sticker that says C.A.R.B.! Still, the price is good!

Yea the sticker is a little gay. Some of the ebay things end up not being bad depending on the car.How about I rephrase my whole post.SRI/CAI, which is least likely to throw CEL all the time, since I'm not going to be home to wrench on stuff.

I have no CEL issues on mine. I have the Injen CAI. But from what people say on here, as long as you seat the MAF sensor so there are no leake you wont have an issue
