High oil pressure ???

I have an '03 vibe with 145K on it that just started making a ticking noise in the engine. I've replaced the rod bearings and hooked up a mechanical oil gauge. I was suprised at how high my oil pressure was (60psi) at a cold idle. At warm idle - 30psi and warm engine at 2K - 60psi. Are these readings normal? Thanks for any input!!!Jason

Sounds normal... Every vehicle I've seen an aftermarket oil temp gauge in has read like that. From my Dad's Harley to my first car.

I just had same problem and the ticking sound is a crack in the fly wheel... i got it fixed about 2 months ago and just recentley it started making that noise again...
