I just purchased a 2009 Vibe GT. 32000 miles silver and black interior.Dont worry when you see the picture, I remover the front plate holder and plan to do the same to the pinstripe.Thinking about lowering springs (1.2 inch) CAI and Exhaust. I just purchased floor liners, I work on the beach and have wet sandy shoes daily.I drove it home over 400 miles, 30mpg, top speed on the open hwy 115Joshua

Welcome, first off.And second... call me nuts, but I think the stripe is really working for your Vibe. This coming from a guy who would normally rip that sucker off the moment the ink was dry on the contract. It just... works for me.

Joshua. Welcome Another 09 Vibe GT member I agree with the pinstripe issue BUT only because they located it improperly. A properly located pinstripe will ALWAYS follow body curves & lines alongside the length of the car. They simply shot a laser line and followed it. It's gotta go The few curves & body lines, that are on the 09 Vibe, would have been easy to "stripe" and thus giving the car a more classy look Several of us have striping as such on our Vibes and it looks sharp. I also removed my front License plate (against our state law though ). Looks clean & sharp. Enjoy your ride

I didnt want to push it on my first day driving it home, I wanted to make sure it felt good at high speeds. What is the top speed of a 2.4 vibe?

Welcome to GenVibe Joshua! May I suggest the K&N Typhoon CAI. Quite a few of us '09-'10 2.4L owners have it and love it.Also, check out my how-to for color matched plugs for the front license plate holes .I am typically not a fan of pin stripes, but I do think yours looks good, however, personally... I'd still remove it . I just prefer a clean look and it sounds like you do as well .Quote, originally posted by 09vGT »Best color choice!x2
