How thick are the taillights? (2003-2008)

I'm wondering how thick the plastic is on the outside of the taillights. Particularly under the three raised edges on it. Anybody handled broken or busted tailights and remember about how thick they are.I guess specifically what I'm wanting to know is, on the inside of the light...is it smooth underneath the 3 raised edges? Or does it contour with them?

I like where your going with this. The best bet would be to find a broken one to experiment with. If you get this done, and I'm sure you will. I will likely follow suit.

Ill have to let you continue in the lead of modding the light colored vibes. My new plan is that the girlfriend needs a new car. So my solution is to get a gt, and give her my base. so that means no modding, and then ill switch over all the parts I can. The base will be paid off in a couple months. Anyway keep up the work, you seem to be doing a lot lately

Hopefully this will save you some money.... Its hard to get a pic that close to come out clear.
