I'll find out tomorrow and post. I work at a Pontiac dealership, so I'll just ask my parts guy.

Well, GM doesn't service this part, which means you can't go to a dealership and order it. You have to go through AC Delco service. Probably has something to do with the odometer. Sorry about the news.

Well, a dealer can order it, but I doubt that the parts department can get it and just hand it over to you, agreed, because of the odometer issues...But I know a dealer can order it and install it themselves, because I had to have my cluster replaced once before...

Right, they go through AC Delco though. Delco are the people that can change the odometer to whatever and the dealership is an authorized business that is allowed to handle this.

I dont; have a dog in this fight (as the old saying goes) but did a quick google "GM CLUSTER REPAIR".
http://www.instrumentclusters.com is in Virginia and could be a source.
http://www.mrwhizard.com is in Manitoba.
http://www.specmo.com is in Michigan, has a great contact list with names and phone numbers for each department.Someone may what to compose an eMail or make a call to one of these or other sources and have them estimate (if possible) a 2004 upgrade.

Just curious, whay do you want a 2004 cluster? Is it different from the 2003 or is your's damaged?

Is it different from the 2003 or is your's damaged? The '04 cluster has white characters with a more upright, not-so-slanted "font", red markings, and retains the red pointers. The LCD also appears to illuminate in a white color.I have to admit, I like the looks of the '03 cluster... But there are visibility issues which don't really bother me, but seemed to have been a sticking point for many with the Vibe/Matrix... Thus, the redesign.
