I'm looking forward to seeing who has the last '03 among active Genvibers down the road. No doubt there are a few Vibers here planning on driving them as long as they last. I hope this site is around for awhile so I can hear about them (or brag about my own longevity - that's the plan) .

I was thinking about that today as I read the VIN thread... I looked in the door jamb and it says it was made in 01/02... I was wondering how many of the ones that came before mine were still on the road...and how long they last, etc. I plan on keeping mine for a loooong time. I chose the year for the body style, no other reason, I could have bought a newer one but just like the looks of 03/04 better, with 03 being the inaugural year, that was my deal breaker if I had two I was looking at. Luckily, this one fell into my lap and was everything I wanted!

2006, hense the less than original screen name. Had I known how active I would become on this forum (and remembered I'd have to have a screen name when I signed up here,) I might have thought of a more original name. I failed....

" It means we are technically the only ones configured in that manner. I think their 0.002% is just a straight math deal on the total production number of that year with 1 unique match. Kinda cool but I'll take it with face value. as sad to say it is still a Vibe in the end and far from a collectors car. Even my SRT being 1 of ~175 of my color and trim level is still not really a collectors ride. I believe it is also the only one based on a site like that configured as it is.I am glad i enjoy the cars i own. I will drive them for as long as i can and get every bit of use out of my wagons.

Cool site. My '03 Gt was built 03/18/2002 and "There are 1 2003 ALL PURPOSE 4 DR VIBE GT vehicles (0.014%) matching your exact options list. There are 28 (0.405%) with at least as many options. "It would be fun to get a birth certificate, even though I'm the second owner.

2009 GT, built in 02/2008...1st owner bought her in 03/2008, sold her back to the dealer in 02/2009. Rød Vogn was in the inventory of various dealers until my wife and I rescued her in the middle of 01/2011 to replace my 1999 S-10, which had been t-boned and totalled just before the previous Christmas.
