yay for $12 shift knobs from auto zone... so cheap you can just keep on replacing them. i love this one though. almost like a short throw shifter now.dropped off 17 gallons of used oil too.

Very nice it looks good! Though i'd also while doing that use a touch up paint of sorts on that dash near the lighter. And off topic, I love the look of your radio! It has that built in/classic look but mixes with high tech to make it look really modern and nice. Dose it do GPS as well or no?

That looks slick! Does it have any weight behind it? I'd like to get a new knob and shift boot but I'd be worried that the knob would end up feeling too light. That one looks like it'd be hefty enough but it's hard to tell in pictures.

How exactly do you remove the shift knob? I assume screw it counterclockwise, but it doesn't seem to be coming off easily, and I'm afraid to apply too much pressure in case there's another way to do it.Also, do you know if the size is 12mm x 1.25? I'm thinking about getting one of these for my '04 Vibe GT:

Vibe/Matrix Shifter Thread Size: 12mm x 1.25Remove by just rotating off, counterclockwise. There's some tension but that's good, don't want it loose wihle driving.I've been eyeing the Blox shift knobs as they are one of the few that make weighted knobs for Toyotas. Can't justify the price when stock one feels so nice though.
