Nice! I think red would have been wrong for your car.But since you've painted the whole rotor hat you will need to put a thin layer of Anti-Seize on the mounting surface of your alloys or they will grow together and you'll have a hard time getting them apart the next time you want to rotate the tires. It should be very thin and only on the mounting surface or it will sling onto the wheel wells and body panels. You'll have little tiny silver dots everywhere, so be sure to wipe off any excess.

Looking good! Was that pinstripe by hand? I agree that the red might have been wrong for your car (can't believe I am saying that!), mostly because the red caliper paint would probably not have matched the red car paint. The black looks good with those wheels!

yes, dad did the pinstripes. just a strip you get at auto zone.

Obviously that didn't stop me from making the comment anyway.... But my reasoning is exactly the same as yours.

Nice job that looks really good on your vibe. And plus one for the anti sieze tip. Used to have a truck and I swear someone welded the rear wheels to the drums. Not sure I would have to worry about that on this car because I swap wheels for winter and summer. I really like the pinstripe too, how hard was that to get lined up right?

I just know that red caliper paint is usually the "bright" color red (like my car lol), and his car looks like the "toned down" color red. Black looks classier in that case.

i think i missed her reputation. aside from you having a red vibe, what gives you a very cherry reputation?

PS Which color is your Vibe, exactly? I'll admit to not being 100% familiar with the exact color names of the older Vibes, but I know they had the brighter Lava (like lovemyraffe) and the more toned-down Salsa... which ones is yours? Really hard to tell from the pics lol... the ones in the sun look like Lava but the one in your sig looks like Salsa. Ours just came in one red color- Red Hot Metallic.

Hey, in the pic of the car in the street, what did you do with the handle to the rolling jack under the car?

yeah, it's lava red. and i have 2 jacks that i use. the black one under the front is an SUV jack with a small head. the silver one that's under the car not holding anything has a large head that i use to jack up the back. the back is on jack stands and the front is just on the jack, i only have 3 jack stands. it's hard to see the handle to the silver jack cause it's black and stays down. it's not spring loaded like a lot of newer jacks.

I think the current wheels look great. Lowering it a little would make it look even better. Nice work!

thanks. i like the current height. i've raised the back an inch to carry more without it sagging too bad. just some coil spacers from o'reillys.
