CAI

Installed the CAI today and it was getting cold so I started to rush at the end. Anyways, is the intake noise really loud compared to the SRI? I always installed SRI's on my other cars but went with the CAI this time. Its a lot louder and I want to make sure I didnt mess anything up. Also, Whats the easiest way to fix a broken battery bracket bolt? The head sheared off and the nut was welded on....

I noticed that the CAI wasn't necessarily louder, but a different sound. Glad you got it on alright.

I figured it out. Its when its in the high idle when its cold I notice the big difference in sound. Other than that it is as I expected. Just suprised me on the first time I started.

Ya, I thought something was wrong when I installed mine. Sounds like a hoover vacum when cold staring it.
