anyone know if the 04 cluster will easily swap into the 03? i like how the 04 cluster looks and all, but if it's too hard i wont bother with it.

Yes, it will bolt right up. Isn't the 03 and 04 cluster colors the same? I know the cluster colors for the Matrix was the same in 03 and 04 (All Red). In 05 the colors changed to white and red.Ever thought of doing this mod?http://matrixowners.com/topic/...e-mod/

Red was only in '03.Bear in mind the odometer reading is stored in the cluster, so your car will report whatever mileage the cluster you put in had on it when they took it out of the last car...

one thing i noticed, how high does the speedo for the 04 GT go? mine goes to 150. and i'd find a cluster from one with something more than 147,000 and just wait til it got to that milage to do the swap.

you need a cluster out of an 04 Vibe GT. mine is a base

You need one out of a 04+ GT or 05+ Matrix XRS. If not the speedometer and the Rpm's will not be accurate.If you really want to be cool get yourself a cluster from a Canadian spec 05+ Matrix XRS. This way the speedo will display the Km/H as the primary . (see below) Note: This is a (blue) modded cluster.

For the record, that's not my gauge in the pic.Note the blue gauge mod can be done to your existing 03 gauges.
