OK. Seeing how I missed the Detroit Auto show, I'd be up for attending the Chicago one. The Presidents day weekend Feb 19 (end of the show weekend) would work best for me as I'd have a 3 day weekend and could afford to "blow off the whole day" at such an event. Don't forget about the 1/2 off vouchers at your local Chicago BP stations (please verify). Maybe we could meet somehwere and carpool to save on parking fees? For now count me in. I'll watch this post religiously till the show and hopefully I can make it. Oh, as an added bonus, I could personally deliver some Vibe "late" Christmas presents to a few of you local Chicagoans. I should have them done by then I think you know what I'm referring to

Carpooling sounds good to me- each of our cars carries 5 passengers after all I'll start with Feb 19th as a tentative date then unless people say otherwise...Anyone? Bueller?

Unfortunately I won't be able to make the Auto Show afterall. I went to the doctor yesterday and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. I am feeling pretty crappy and am planning on just staying home and resting this weekend. Hope you guys have fun.

Hope you guys have fun.That really sucks Carrie Assuming I was to make the trip, I was going to stop in Sandwich and personally install the two 3rd brake lt assemblies into you & your mom's Vibes. Worse case you end up installing them yourself ... no big deal. If I don't make it myself, I will ship these out to you guys next week with very simple detailed instructions. I'll reply again before Saturday with my plans. In the meantime get some rest and maybe you'll feel better come Saturday

I'll keep you posted as several others who drive the older generation Vibes have expressed interest also.As far as this weekend goes, it is starting to look grim for me as well. If it weren't a 4hr drive and having a son prep for his ACT test, and a few other complications (screwed up on one of the 3rd brake lights for you Chicagoans ) I would probably still be able to make it. These auto shows give me so many ideas which is what fuels my desire to create interesting mods for cars. I'll know more tomorrow

Gotta check out the Mustang boss 302 dyno! Pay attention to the HP TQ and tranny specs, When asked yell loudly with the correct specs and you get to go for a ride on the dyno! It was an awesome experiance!

Well, we'll be getting there around 10am, if anyone wants to meet us!

Although I'm feeling better, I am definitely still not feeling well enough to be doing all that walking around and all . Hope you guys have fun Michelle. Tim, no worries about the brake lights. I know they'll be well worth the wait .
