I have read many articles regarding the AWD suspension. All articles said that the AWD is Front MacPherson Struts and Rear Double Wish Bone. But, on my window sticker it says "4 wheel independent double wishbone suspension". These window sticker shouldn't be misleading. My AWD was manufactured on 4/09/03.So, I'm really don't know what I have. I looked under the carriage but cannot tell if it is 4 double wishbone suspension or half and half. Can anyone tell me?

That's no good! The window sticker is definately incorrect! I wonder if they fixed that for 2004.... The articles are correct as well as Pontiacs website.

You're picking nits. It's correct however, not as clear as it could be. It is a "4 wheel independent, rear double wishbone suspension".

OK.. I have scanned the window sticker for evidence that it DOES NOT SAY: "..., REAR DOUBLE...."I have seen a double wishbone suspension before. I looked at the rear and for sure the rear is indeed double wishbone. I just can't tell if the front is double wishbone.I have attached the window sticker.Well... I can't attached it to this post... Here is the Hyperlink link to it:

I'm pretty sure the front is double wishbone on the base...but on an AWD I couldn't say for sure...

No, the front is Mcpherson strut on the base and GT, there is no upper control arm, and I can't imagine they would change it to double wishbone just for the AWD, it would mean a major rework to the front end structure.
