How NOT to shift a 6-speed

http://celica.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cg ... 009656Some dumbass kid in an RSX blows his engine and tranny while doing 75 (in a 25mph zone). For some reason decides it would be a good idea to downshift at 7500 RPM in 5th gear to 4th, misses, hits 2nd instead...BLAMMO!

Wow. Don't think he'll be rebuilding that one..... He should save all those aluminum chunks so he can take it to the scrap yard.

ehem why didn't he let of the accelerator a bit lol and hit the break before a downshift to take the rev back down lol! Its pretty damn hard to hit 2nd from 5th you really gotta slam the shifter in gear hard to do that.
