help finding a new trans... please?

hey guys, I got an 04 base w/ a 5 speed and thanx to tax return time I can finally afford to replace my broken trans.. anyone know of a good (as cheap as possible) place to find a new trans? I don't want to go used or rebuilt, but will if I have to. I'd like to find a local-ish place in So Cal (IE, Riverside County, or as far as SB or LA) but will go for a shipped one if freight costs aren't too bad... Any suggestions?
