Atlanta Varsity Meets?

Post by jscherf92 »

I dont know how many members we have in the atlanta area but the first thursday of every month (not sure of the specific times, probably around 6 to 10-11 when people start leaving) there is a pretty decent car show at the Varsity downtown. Its all perfectly legal, the varsity practically sponsors it because they get so much business.I also saw a white Vibe there this past week, badges removed, and clean but it looked virtually stock on the exterior. It might've been coincidence, but i'd love to have a little row of Vibes/Matrix's there sometime.

oh ok i dont know who that was then. yeah i saw your car when i walked in to get some food, if yours is the black one with spray painted stock 16's. it was weird to see another vibe there. mine is pretty much stock, i prefer to do things the right way and take a little longer. ive had it for about 3 months now and had HID's the day after and just finished my audio build....http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=43315coilovers and nice wheels by end of summer hopefully. ive been going to those meets for about 5 years now.

Yeah I'm leaving my wheels as they are until I pick up a nice set with good fitment and suspension to all go on at the same time.

I used to do the Varsity meets until I got bored of begin the only Matrix/Vibe/Rolla out there. I'll be up for starting it up again if you guys are serious about it.Btw, I'm also down for other meets, i.e. install help, photo shoots, etc.

Nothing mechanical, ive got some cosmetic things that need to be taken care of when ive got the time and cash.My younger brother is learning to drive and gashed my car on the mailbox, so after a half-assed repair attempt that still looks bad. Then my black wheel paint faded and needs to be redone with better quality paint and more effort on my part. And my roof rails are off so i need to buy the extreme dimensions roof caps. Just little things standing in the way of showing off a bit.

I've had it worked on twice and it's still not where I would like it. I'm alright with it because after all it's my daily driver and not a show car/trailer queen.
