Congrats on the Vibe as your first car! It is my first car too, and I love it! Other than my aero-mods (to improve fuel economy) I haven't done much so far, but I plan on lowering it, so that's always out there.

i have about $1000 right now to spend but more is coming i have a job so money isnt really a problem. Its neptune color, automatic. Its pretty basic. Its an 2003 with the better stock radio. Hopefully putting a lot better one in it. It doesnt have the stock rims they are really ugly in my opinion. I will post a picture of it for everyone. My goal is to customize it.

I bought Paul's strut bar after he crashed his Abyss (black) Vibe. That car was sexy. Plain and simple!Welcome, and we look forward to his influence on your ride.

Hi ! Stay away from anything chrome, espically if thay use salt on that snow &be sure ya clean the under cariage real good come spring, espically around the brake lines. Hopefully you already checked underneath for signs of rust.I always carry a moveing blanket with me so I can lay on the ground & check things out.Another thing to check is the door drains,if thay are starten to rust,B-ware.

When can you legally drive this ride ??? Assuming your profile is correct, 15 year olds are not of legal driving age yet Also, been playing hockey over 45 years and hopefully you turn out to be one of the better reffs out there. We could use some good ones down here @ Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter Good luck

Great job It's not easy finding responsible young men & women these days, so you're off to a good start Keep us all posted on future mods and any problems with your new ride. Also, KEEP playing hockey till you're DEAD We have three 70+ year olds who still keep up with the younger guys! I hope that will be the case with me in 20 years or so .... we'll see

I love those overlays! In fact I've been looking for some to cover the amber in my tail lights. Would I buy them through you, or elsewhere?

I too am late to the party, but welcome you to GenVibe, Young Viber. The wheels wouldn't be my first choice either, but hey, at least they're alloys! Perhaps like ours the car came w/steelies and wheel covers.I was looking at the site that J_To_Envy posted and 1) hope you are not getting a 12% loan rate? And 2) I don't see a Moons and Tunes subwoofer outback in the hatch area. We don't have the M&T's package so I ask those in the know, is that an M&T's package in there?

I called the place today and asked about that specific Vibe and I found the following:1. Salesman stated it HAS NOT been sold 2. It is being ACTIVELY advertised on CraigslistI do hope you ended up putting money down to hold, person of 18 yrs of age signed some sort of paperwork, or etc to make the deal legit. Places have been known to take deposits and sell the vehicle to another. I have had it happen personally when I was 17 from a local Ford Dealer.

You ain't a kidding there Some scumbag shops like to "prey" on young innocent customers and they think they'll get one over on you. Cover your *** in every possible way and I really hope you hold the keys to this ride soon. Post a pic with you holding the keys in front of the Vibe when it is legally yours Good luck
