That's why I use bags and tissue paper instead of wrapping... more time to watch the Christmas Eve Doctor Who Marathon

I don't wrap presents. I leave that to the experts: the folks at the mall doing it for donations.

That's just cheating.Besides, where's the sense of accomplishment when you're done?AND, those gift bags cost 4-5 times as much as wrapping paper.

This is part of the reason I love being married, my wife wraps all the presents. I almost asked her wrap a few brown boxes but decided I would wrap her presents myself.

I buy my gift bags and tissue from the dollar store only... besides, I value my time more than money by the time I get down to the last minute like this. Besides, I like to make them look really pretty with the floofy paper in different colors.

The wife and I do an assembly line, I wrap with my borderline OCD making precise creases and exact taping and she decorates, ribbons, bows and tags. It works out well. Of course when it comes to the presents for each other, I give her a plain wrapped package with a scrap of wrapping paper folded for a tag.Everyone knows the fun is in the shredding of wrapping paper!Merry Christmas everyone.

Michelle, I actually had one of my vendors tell me yesterday that he still needed to do ALL his holiday shopping... and of course like me, he was working a regular (8-10hr) day too!! Now THAT's waiting till the last minute. Quote, originally posted by audiovibe »... Even if like us, you try to save much of the paper for stocking stuffer's the next year, the fun is in the drama created by the time it takes to unwrap something. There's little fun in taking things out of a bag and pulling it out of tissue paper.Merry Christmas again Everybody!!
