Lots of info. on the forum about this. Here's just one of many links.
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=982 Yes, passenger side. It's behind the glove box door. Open little plastic door. Two little plastic tabs that can break easy. Wiggle out old one. Pay attention to the airflow indicator and slide the new one in, close little plastic door. Here's one place.

If you're not used o shopping online you could check out Bannister GM and see how much they'll charge for a new one (probably an arm and a leg) or you could buy a furnace duct filter. They come in a big sheet so just put the old filter on top and cut out what you need.
