Last night my engine stayed around 3000 rpm and was stuck there for a while and I could not get it to slow down. I reached down and grabbed the floor mat to make sure it was not hanging up, but it wasn't and then the check engine light came on. I took it to the dealer and they said it needed a new accelerator position sensor, but there are none available in the U.S. at any dealer. Has anyone ran into this before or where could I find the sensor? Thanks!

Now the light went out and everything is fine. Makes me wonder when it will happen again.
