Snow in Southwestern Quadrant of Ohio

Drove back to Columbus from Dayton area this afternoon via I-675 and I-70. Roads were in reasonable shape but I was surprised to see a half dozen accidents/vehicles in the ditch in that 90 mile trip. I just don't understand how those could happen if drivers just took minimal precautions, drove no more than 60 rather than the typical 75 in the 65 mph zones, and maintained reasonable separation from other traffic.

In all of my days of driving in the snow (last 15yrs now) I have not once, spun out, went in a ditch, HIT anyone (that was my fault mind you, I did have a lady back out in front of me in the snow) or lost it in any way shape or form... Am I lucky, or am I a good defensive (to the point of offensive) driver.. ??
