Hello all! What I want to do is install some LED strip lights, and use those as my DRLs, instead of my headlights. Now since I have little to no electronic experience, I would like some help. How exactly would I be able to do this? Any help is appreciated!Thanks!

the drl are the same lights as the regular. same wiring, relay, etc. in order to do that you'd have to custom everything. not an easy mod.

I kind of did this, but I didn't disable my DRLs. I just hooked them up to my parking lights, so they turn on when I turn those on, and blink with them too. Here's a link to the post I did for that: http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...age=2I still need to show how I hooked them up to the turn signals/parking lights though(it was pretty easy and I'm no electrician).

I don't want to disable the DRLs, I want to make it so some LED strip lights are the DRLs, and the headlights are just headlights. Maybe something like have a switch to change the lights from the headlights to the LED lights.

What you did in that thread is actually really close to what I want to do, minus the parking lights. I'm thinking I'll have shorter lights, and put them where your option A was.
